  Re: Berg-och-dalbana - experiment

(...) Ehem. Är du bekant med (URL) Matt's LEGO Roller Coaster> ? Denna får väl lov att betraktas som state of the art: en gigantisk motoriserad berg-och-dal-bana med looping, byggd mestadels med vanliga bitar från 70- och tidigt 80-tal; finjusterad (...)   Berg-och-dalbana - experiment

(19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Vårträff (andra försöket).

(...) Jo, nog vore det kul med en träff igen. Jag har ett nytt förslag på vad man kan bygga var och en för sig och sedan försöka sätta ihop till en större helhet: Berg-och-dalbana! Se mitt andra inlägg här i gruppen. (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Tjockvarv och tunnvarv,

(...) Jag misstänker det. "vanlig bit" och "platta" är nog mina grundbegrepp också. (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Announcing Brickvention 2006!

(...) I agree that $50 is quite cheap. In fact, compared to the total it will cost to attend (the +travel and +accomodation), $50 is very reasonable indeed. Venues are expensive, and if you don't live in Melbourne, travel and accomodation will be (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.events, FTX)

  Re: Announcing Brickvention 2006!

--SNIP-- (...) It is advice I usually take... except at 2am when I probably need it most. I do apologise to Peter Edwards. He may have been rude but that is not really justification for me to be rude back. (...) It's a pity you can't make it down (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: Announcing Brickvention 2006!

(...) Mate my manager once said to me write it to yourself first and then tear it up and re write it again after you have cooled down very good advice I must say. (I have been caught out a few times) Tim my son Ben and I would love to go down as (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  PennLUG in the paper

Recently PennLUG was contacted by the York Dispatch newspaper to do an article on the LUG and on the hobby in general. We haven't seen the article yet ourselves but they asked a lot of questions and took a lot of pictures so we hope it will be an (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.us.pa)

  Re: Announcing Brickvention 2006!

(...) Hi Peter, I agree my comment was rude and had it not been 2am for me when I wrote it I probably wouldn't have posted it but I will stand by the point because it was in response to something that was extremely rude. You have said much the same (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: Announcing Brickvention 2006!

(...) Tim I thought those comments were a wee bit harsh mate as I too thought the $50 rego was a little extreme. We (BLTG) had a disscussion this weekend while we were at a train show at Sandgate and we came up with the figures of about $1000 plus (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)
