Moving Overseas Sale: Storage Containers and more (great for LEGO)

Hi all, Sorry for the sale post, but I am moving overseas in around three months from now and need to start getting a few things moving, including what I currently use as LEGO storage containers. I have a lot of the Starmaid 10 ltr/a few 15ltr and (...) (19 years ago, 6-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.au.qld.bri, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Mid Year Toy Sales.

(...) I have only found crowds at Target and it's literally wall to wall people (same as the warehouse sale for those that went). It's not easy pushing a trolley that's stacked 2-3 feet above the top while everyone you pass asks 'why are you buying (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Mid Year Toy Sales.

P.S. Look on the bright side - no need to fight the madding crowds on Thursday!! Christmas toy sales are best avoided if at all possible - at least on the first day :) Deidre (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Mid Year Toy Sales.

Mmm, you're right - I thought I'd seen 4511 in Myer but wondered if I was thinking of something else. Haven't seen the KK2 canisters elsewhere, but I haven't been paying that much attention either. Maybe the Kmart layout person got over excited with (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Mid Year Toy Sales.

(...) That's pure crap (and BS since other stores have those KK2 canisters not to mention 4511). I gave Kmart the benefit of the doubt and assumed they would have something to get excited about. Although, 20% off 8435 (blue technic 4WD) makes it (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Mid Year Toy Sales.

(...) Kmart catalogue is out and I'm afraid is not that exciting: Boat 7244 is $39.96 save $9.99 (20% off) Crane 7249 is $71.99 save $18 (~20% off) World city train 4511 is $143.96 save $35.99 (hmm, that would be 20% off, surprised?) These 3 are all (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Mid Year Toy Sales.

Kmart Expect 7244 Speed Boat and 7249 XXL Mobile Crane to be on sale this Thursday. There was a whole lot of these sets piled up in the 'extended' toy section. Don't know the price, probably $25-30 for 7244 and $50 for 7249. Also some 8436 red (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

(...) Unfortunately, the front and rear windows are in the right place (without quarter-stud offset bricks being available), and moving them would make the upper body too long for the scale!   Re: New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

(...) With the windscreens, did you mean that the side windows are too short or the front and rear windows too narrow? Cab windows are always the hardest part to model. I needed a piece for the front and rear windscreens that would give the division (...) (19 years ago, 3-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk, FTX)
