No wonder they were quiet when I made a suggestion.

Some time during 2000 I mentioned that it would be a nice idea if TLC/TLG did a couple of Dinosuar skeletons (sort of lego fossils.). I did not expect the idea to be taken too seriously .... What do I know hear rumours of? Dino sets! unfortuantly (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

(...) Oh, they do still. But you have to go to a specialty store for them. Examples are the Velux house, all the 2000 Shell sets and probably some others that escape me right now. The problem is not that kids want something easier to build, but what (...) (24 years ago, 31-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

  ???Where did the HORSES go???

-Set number #5394 (Horses & Saddles) ***Discontinued***?- I ordered 15 sets of #5394 along with a few other sets a week ago from Lego Shop at Home, and on the invoice it said: “The following items have been canceled 15 #5394 Horses & Saddles” “The (...) (...) I don't know if anyone else has seen the two new Mega Blok Pro Series sets, but the Harely-Davidson looked incredible! 1300 or 1400 pieces, all basic bricks except for a handful of specialty/accent pieces. $40. Expensive for a Ritvik set, but (...) (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

(...) Guess I'm weird that way; I'm almost insulted when I get a Town Junior set that's pre-seperated for me (but oh well, not like I can't just dump it all out) yet when I get a larger set I'd like some sort of sorting. Yes, you're right, if I had (...) (24 years ago, 30-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

Thanks for all the info on where to acquire cheep sets that contain Horses. And yes, I am a member of Lego Shop @ Home. Nevertheless, this simply won’t do! My army is well over 800+ troops, and I need about 45 black horse, 20 white horses, and 15 (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.western, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.town)

A company cannot control what you do with a product after you've bought it. Once you own the product, it's yours to do with as you please. They especially have no say in this as they've marketed sets for the creation of these types of things. They (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.lego.direct)

Dear Lego/Lego Direct, Is there any chance you might release special minifig sets with Ogel's skeleton henchmen? I would buy many of them. Lou's original post, on the current state of Lego, made me pretty sad. I'm now 28, so I grew up as a kid playing with sets from ~1978-1990, a truly wonderful time for Lego. Thankfully, I saved everything I had and they are now part of my collection. (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)
