Please open the pages of your Ultimate Lego Book:
pp26, 27 - Lego Chess and Rock Raiders appear in Mac windows (these
are Photoshop documents, however, check out the zoom size and the file
size in the corner)
pp28 - Another Photoshop window and AVI files shown in Mac Quicktime
windows.
pp29 - A Mindstorms and Dacta example - photo shows users working
on Macs. Mindstorms sets cannot be used with Macs! The Dacta
example shown is probably some kids working with ROBOLAB, which is
totally different from Mindstorms.
pp30 - Lego Futura designer works on a Mac (also shown are pictures
from James Gurney's Dinotopia: The World Beneath. No credits are
given in the colophon at the end of the book. Whoops! Watch out for
copyright lawyers!)
Now, I realize that the screenshots were most likely shown in Photoshop
windows because the graphic designers who work for DK Publishing
were probably working on Macs. They should've trimmed off the window
edges, IMO. Still, it's terribly ironic that even Lego designers work on
Macs, but TLC still refuses to release software for Mac.

It should not surprise you that the boxes, manuals, adverts and (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)
