Constellation (yes, this is the right set number this time!). - We are using a hinge element at the front of the ship. This hinge is new as we no longer produce (...) (21 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.lego.direct) !

The box shown at Brickswest was what looked to be the original artwork from when the set was first released (the kid had the Rolls Royce model on the shelf behind him, for goodness sake!) | | | | Another change not mentioned (in this thread) is that the three 2x4 light gray plates on the deck (mid-ship, under the lifeboat) were originally three 2x4 CLEAR plates. That explains why the space under those three 2x4 plates was so carefully (...) (20 years ago, 7-Aug-04, to lugnet.lego.direct)
