Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

Come on guys. It will be two years soon And STILL no real increase in the diversity of bulk bricks. OK, we have had a couple of new shades of standard bricks (that no one really asked for) But the stuff people keep repeatedly asking for never gets (...)   Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

Here here! Good ole 2x4 bricks in blue would be nice! And what about 2x6 bricks - none! Of course, I need yellow but I'd take pink or teal if I had to! JB (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

(...) Yeah, this stuff is long overdue. I guess no 'opportunity' (like the sand red) has arisen at the manufacturing plant(s). I was pleased with the center stud tiles last year, but really expected them to release more items with them. (I think the (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Andrew Lipson wrote in message ... (...) Please! Even 1x1's would be acceptable (since they are no longer in the tubs and buckets at all except with eyes on them!). You can't build decent buildings without at least SOME odd-numbered bricks. White (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

Check Bricklink. I, and I'm sure many other people, have brand new 2x4 blue bricks set at prices BELOW LD's bulk prices. In fact, many people, including myself, sell them for almost HALF of LD's prices. I still have 700 in my shop. Since this isn't (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

(...) Windows, doors, and roof bricks. Oh my! :-) Seriously, I have said it before I'll say it again, what we need is larger plates. A 6x8 and/or 4x10 is a good size that is still small enough to be highly versatile. At this point I do not even care (...) (22 years ago, 20-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

(...) I have to strongly agree with this... 1X3 and 1X1 would be a tremendous addition to the bulk section!! What was the reason for discontinuing the tubs??? The reason Brad (Justice) gave were that they were for retailers to attract (...) (22 years ago, 20-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

(...) This is my frustration as well, big time. I have very little, if any, interest in this stuff....but someone does. (...) Let alone 'overs'. When they need 100k of bricks they surely don't run only 100k of bricks. All the production facitilies (...) (22 years ago, 20-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

(...) I think there is a difference between LUGnet ratings and "vote for the next legend", for which the questions are structured in terms of "would you buy it and why". For example, I might rate the 8448 Super Car highly but I wouldn't buy anyone (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

: "In reply to past remarks about production overs and sending more bricks to the bulk pack lines." I just emailed Lego about expanding the Rust, Sea Green and Tan lines into bulk. I to share the interest in more availablility since I like to (...) (22 years ago, 2-May-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)
