They don't need an 'opportunity'.
There are loads of great bricks in current sets that must be
manufactured by the g'zillion.
Why oh why can't they divert a few to bulk?
There are lots of great windows, plates, slopes, etc, etc, etc being
made right now.
But can we buy them. No we cannot not.
But they have time to create sculpture sets, bring back legends, etc.
all of which in my mind must take greater effort.
I mean what can be so hard about saying
1. make 10k more of those bricks please - whilst you are already making
100k
2. put them in bags of 50
3. add an entry in shop at home
4. take orders.
They dont need to set up production lines
They dont need to set up a sales or shipping facility
WHy is it so hard?

When they need 100k of bricks they surely don't run only 100k of bricks. All the production facitilies (...) (23 years ago, 20-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

I was pleased with the center stud tiles last year, but really expected them to release more items with them. (I think the (...) (23 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)
