I have to strongly agree with this... 1X3 and 1X1 would be a tremendous
addition to the bulk section!! What was the reason for discontinuing the
tubs??? The reason Brad (Justice) gave were that they were for retailers
to attract customers....errr AFOLS into the stores, and really not for
anything else....
Which I partially disagree with, because they had all the major colors and
all the major brick selection, unlike the brick selection now available
at Shop@Home.
I also can't follow the logic that those pieces won't sell...etc. (the same
LEGO company Bull that they've been saying for a while now) The difference
between the service packs and the current Bulk Packs, is there is a bigger
demand for stuff from Shop@Home because of its market exposure.
I think if they decided to do a production run of all the most demanded
Service Packs of old, I am sure that the packs would sell a lot faster than
they would have in other contexts (like selling them in European Small
Toy Stores...., or only available in the Shop@Home Europe)
