    LEGO spammed me —Amy Hughes
Did everyone get their serving of LEGO spam? Is this how my choice to *not* save S@H account info is honored? Amy (22 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO spammed me —Larry Pieniazek
(...) When and what? I did get a mailing from them quite a few weeks ago but I asked to get promo mails. I have not received anything of late. (22 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO spammed me —Maggie Cambron
(...) I just got one announcing the Santa Fe auctions on eBay within the last fifteeen minutes. The only other one I remember was one announcing the release of the Ltd Ed Santa Fe engines. I didn't mind receiving either of them. (I'm surprised you (...) (22 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO spammed me —Matt Hein
(...) Lego Spam, eh?! I guess they *really* want to sell off those Super Chief engines! :) BTW, I wouldn't mind getting Lego spam in my inbox, so as long as it doesn't deal with anything that I don't want. (used lego? No way!) Just my two brickz... (...) (22 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO spammed me —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Well I did bid on it (but I'm *definitely* not bidding again, 800 USD is too rich for my blood)... Actually I just checked my spammailbox and there it is. So ya. I got it too. (22 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO spammed me —Amy Hughes
(...) Today, and it had something to do with Spiderman. I don't know exactly what it was, though, since it was binary and my spam filter eliminates such nonsense for me. Amy (22 years ago, 6-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO spammed me —Kevin Wilson
Amy Hughes wrote in message ... (...) I got it. I don't mind so much getting the email - I don't remember whether I signed up to receive emails or not - my problem is that if I want to limit the emails they have me signed up for, I have to give them (...)          shop.Lego still will not remember my country —Kevin Johnston
(...) I experienced this again today as well (IE5 on a Mac). Actually, I don't think the country selection has worked for me for months and months (not since roughly around the first time they got it working-- how long ago was that??). Contrariwise, (...)           Thanks, I'm guessing! was: shop.Lego still will not remember my country —Kevin Johnston
I stopped into the shop just now and bypassed the sign-in screen. What a relief-- thanks, to whoever fixed this! I don't visit more often than a couple times a month, but on dial-up every little bit helps. Kevin (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Thanks, I'm guessing! was: shop.Lego still will not remember my country —John Radtke
(...) I'm still getting mixed results. It will retain the country setting only until I actually log in (which one has to do to order), then it is gone again. It also still does not maintain the log on like it did once upon a time. So, convenient (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Thanks, I'm guessing! was: shop.Lego still will not remember my country —Tom Stangl
Personally, I LIKE not having it set the country, so I've never even tried it. Sometimes I order from S@H Europe, and if I set to the US, I wouldn't be able to easily anymore. Of course, I only make an order online every couple of months or so. (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Thanks, I'm guessing! was: shop.Lego still will not remember my country —Kevin Johnston
(...) No offense, but that's not particularly helpful. You get 100% of your desires by simply not using a broken feature. Those of us that like it have been hosed -- and worse, taunted by it on every visit -- for months and months now (a year??). (...) (22 years ago, 20-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) to (...) Yeah, guys, how about a "Choose another country" option up where the sign in / sign out option is? ROSCO (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) it. (...) Ooops. I just investigated a bit harder, and you can change shipping country by clicking on the country flag at the top. D'oh. ROSCO (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO spammed me —John Radtke
(...) I also have not seen lego.com remember a country or otherwise keep me logged in since they went down briefly and added the French version of the site (using IE6 on Win98, IE5 on NT4, or IE5 or 6 on 2000). #388 John (22 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO spammed me —Martin Scragg
(...) I have found exactly the same thing. I did something to my computer at that time so thought that maybe it was just me. It is really annoying going through those other pages to login, especially since my connection can be really slow. Martin (22 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO spammed me —Scott Arthur
I got the same e-mail ("LEGO Santa Fe Super Chief #'s 1-5 at eBay!") 6 times. Scott A =+= Have you inspected Arthur’s Seat yet? (URL) reasonable man adapts himself to suit his environment.
