Snip I believe that the one on the left is a newer mold (entailing a slight saving in material used) and the one on the right matches my bricks dating back to the mid '70s, so it's at least that old. (...) The 1x4 whites in Tantative IV (if I remember correctly, I built it 10 days ago) are of both types. It got my attention since I never saw two versions of the same piece in the same Lego set.
