(...) In 1986? No way. The tabs were around before 1983 (or started that year), as I had never seen the tabless torsos until I picked up a used copy of 6390 Main Street. While I thought that this set was good i didn't realise that it was quite so popular! i'll have to buy another one just to get the inn sign, the most unique part in the set and (...) Richard, I couldn't agree with you more. I bought 12 of those Blacksmith Shop sets back when they first came out (and I am not even into the castle theme) just for those two glorious red steep sloped corners (and the 1x4 red arches).
