(...) Ok, I noticed this on peeron when I was looking through 6067's inventory, but I checked the instructions for the Lego Loco set (2585) on brickshelf and I didn't see it there-- I had figured it was a mis-entry on peeron... Is this the right set (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

Re: And the July Surprise is...

(...) Woo-hoo! Very cool! I know this will make a LOT of AFOL's very happy. Now, we train-heads will be waiting on baited breath to see if the Metroliner makes it into the Legend line-up... Thank you LEGO Direct! Play well. Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: I don't want to complain, but....

Lawrence, I agree with you 100%. Bulk Sales have kind of been pretty stagnant. I would love to see clear bricks in many sizes, macaroni bricks, 2x2 round bricks, and more town windows available. Ditto for sloped bricks, especially steep slopes. Gary (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: And the July Surprise is...

I too am happy about the Legends series. It is great that LD is making so many people happy. But I still want expanded Bulk Orders. Some clear bricks and 2x2 windows (blue, yellow) would be nice, as well as some macaroni bricks in many colors. Ditto (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Excellent decision. Excellent choice. Just one suggestion: Skull's Eye Schooner Bruce (I suppose Black Seas Barracuda would be just as good, but the former is much rarer) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Wow. Lemme say that again - wow. Well, thanks - honestly. I could say it's about time you guys did something brilliant again, but that might sound double-edged.   Re: And the July Surprise is...

(...) The $25 price for a 246 piece set in and of itself is *amazing* when you consider that King Leo's Castle has 524 pieces for $90, the Royal Joust has 99 for $20, and Bull's Attack has 307 for $50.
