Re: The effects of Bulk Sales are evident....

(...) I have to echo this...I wanted to echo it earlier, but was too busy, and didn't have pictures to go along with it. Many of the things that made the town at NALUG's layout for Supertrain 2001 wouldn't have happened without the bulk packs. (...) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

Re: New Bulk Color Available... Brown!!! Slopes and Bricks!!!

(...) <snip> (...) Boy I hope we are both being bad with dates today... If we have to wait until Feb. 29 that means we will have to wait until 2004 ;-). I bet you meant either Feb. 28 or Mar. 1. Eric Kingsley (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: New Bulk Color Available... Brown!!! Slopes and Bricks!!!

New Bulk Color Available... Brown!!! Slopes and Bricks!!!

Folks, I may be daft and missed this but there are some new bulk bricks and slopes in the Spring 2000 catalog. They are all Brown!!!   Re: RIS 2.0 Release Date

(...) Thanks for pointing this out. My reason for asking Lego Direct about this (as opposed to trying to get one from other users) actually has more to do with the possibility that Lego has addressed the main problem people have with the IR towers: (...)   Thank you!

I just wanted to offer a very hearty Thank You! to LEGO Direct for providing NALUG with the materials for the play area at Supertrain 2001 in Calgary, AB, CA this past weekend.   Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) Yeah, what Eric said. In a nutshell, I undertook a grass roots effort to make some T's with Classic Space minifigs on them. LEGO contacted me and said "Quit it." That's about it. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: RIS 2.0 Release Date

The only thing to be careful about is to make sure the 2.0 software will talk to the RS232 connection. They may have the drivers wired into the USB only. Anyone have a 2.0 set they have tested the RS232 on? (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) If TLC doesn't offer an easy way to get a serial infrared tower, there are probably a bunch of folks who would trade or sell you one (who me? I only have 3 RIS sets...). FUT: lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  New accessory packs

I have seen posts about new accessory packs (like classic windows 3446? ). These do not appear as bulk packs on lego.com. Where is a listing of these new items? I am in the US. Lester (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  RIS 2.0 Release Date

Would it be possible to get an official, definiative release date/period/quarter for Midstorms RIS2.0? I've been hearing early March, late March, August, and Fall all depending on who's doing the talking. A specific release date would be nice, but (...)
