Re: What Happens To Returned Legos?

(...) Over the past several years, I have had a *few* store employees tell me that they can return unsold Lego back to TLC. I seem to recall that something was said about qty, but I can't remember the exact phrase. Like I think they can return a (...)   Re: Not at all a pact with the devil...

Jake- Thanks for bringing a little sanity and actual fact to this discussion. I am incredibly sick of all the self-righteous whining about a software company being 'evil'. Ludo, (...) I am wondering if there isn't the Mastercard symbol on your Eurocard. At least here in Germany Eurocard is allied with Mastercard, so you CAN use your Eurocard as Mastercard. Are you sure you haven't got this option as well? Arnold (26 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: What Happens To Returned Legos?

(...) Maybe they can return some things, but my experience is that most times when an employee says that, they are using it as an excuse not to mark down a damaged set so I can buy it at a discount. /Eric McC/ (26 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego)

A call for a Current Promotions page on LEGO.com

Ben's request is a reasonable one, but I'd like to suggest that there are pro's and con's to doing this, many which may not be obvious to the die-hard Lego fan: PRO'S: - The sponsor (Shell, Quaker, Kraft Foods, etc.) would get double coverage for (...)
