Second Harry Potter Movie Trailer Released —Matthew Gerber
In a fun coincidence to our current HP LEGO news...the second movie trailer was released today. It's not up in Apple's QuickTime Movie Trailer Theater yet (though I suppose it will be in the next couple of days), so you'll have to go to (URL) and (...) Hogwarts is, after all, a British boarding school, if a (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jun-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: Second Harry Potter Movie Trailer Released —Matthew Gerber
(...) No, no, no, no, no...the minifigs! The costumes in the movie look GREAT...just like they should. But the minifigs look NOTHING like the movie...look at 'em! Monotone grey torso, hips and legs. Capes with STARS. They look NOTHING like the (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jun-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Well I dunno, I'm looking at this page: (URL) the detail pics of 4704 and 4706, and I see minifigs in shirt/tie/sweater with school badge. I agree the capes look pretty dumb, but I (...)      (...) Maybe the license was under condition that a certain percentage of it to be changed from the original say 20% or so. Maybe it was cheaper to do it like this too? I am not sure, I do not know... any reason is possible though. Maybe it might (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jul-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) I think that as castle fodder, yes it does matter. Unless castleheads intend to start following LEGO design themes and we start to see psycadelic, fruit flavored, or candy-coated castles! But I don't really see them trading in their browns, (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jul-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

Re: HP Set Color/Design Choices (was: Second Harry Potter Movie Trailer Released) —Frank Filz
(...) Well actually... I am working on "Paradisa" castle... (...) There's enough earth tones in there that I personally will be happy to get some far out colors. Also, I can buy grey bricks etc, I can't buy bricks in far out colors. (23 years ago, 2-Jul-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

(...) Haha! See... there will always be someone who wants something different... for something different :) Not only for Frank's Castle but I myself use these things for a more 'normal' looking town theme rather than a boring 5 tone type town. And (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

The smallest Harry Potter Set —Aaron Sneary
Perhaps this is old news to you observant readers, but as I see it that small set where Harry seems to be sitting on top of a big table, is the sorting hat with a spinning dial containing the four houses! I think that is such a great idea. (I won't (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) Loved the trailer! I'm ALMOST as excited about this as I am about LOTR. I literally got goosebumps watchign it!! Something I noticed in the trailer (Which didn't seem to jibe when I saw the sets) was that Dumbledore doesn't have a HAT! He (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jul-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) Uh, yes he is. At least, he has one on during the opening remarks to the students. Well, maybe it's not a pointed hat, but it's a head covering of some kind. Steve (23 years ago, 3-Jul-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) I just rechecked. In the second trailer, when Dumbledore gets to the "corridor is off limits to everyone who does not wish to suffer a most painful death" line, he shakes his head a bit -- he's definitely wearing a pointed hat, it's just (...)
