The ideals of the past gave relevance to the notions that Military (guns) and Mortality (graves) were not the ethics the company was founded upon… What compromise is this? ...unfortunately, it’s a realistic one!   review of 4756 Shrieking Shack

444 pieces, $50 US retail or $70 Canadian. The candy shop is sweet, but, in my opinion, should have been put in a separate set on its own. The "converter" one-piece brick is neat and could provide some fun for the target audience. There are some (...) (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.reviews)

What's this? A motorized Harry Potter train?

I was looking through the newest catalog and noticed that there's a redesigned Harry Potter train that actually works on LEGO 9V tracks! I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but I do like LEGO trains, so back when the original set was released (4708) I (...) (20 years ago, 15-Aug-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Large macaroni from set 4753

Yesterday, I purchased set 4753, "Sirius Black's Escape." The main reason I bought it was something that intrigued me from the photos - what looked like a large radius macaroni brick. Sure enough, the set contains 8 of them in (new) dark grey and (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.harrypotter)

Hi Bruce, yeah I guess this is one of the quieter groups around (same as adventurer and pirates), no MOC's, but I just got the Marauder's Map set, and actually I'm quite pleased with it.   Hey Harry Potter fans, what's up? (book 6 title spoiler)

Hi all, So, why is this group so silent lately? Let's get some chatter going. A few topics: 1. So, it's been enough time that everyone has seen the Prisoner of Azkaban. What'd you think?
