  Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut?

(...) Hi Tim, by building the new Harry Potter castle from the pictures available right now on the internet, I'm pretty sure there are also 4 of them in the new HP castle (4757). I've made use of the already available light gray round bricks See (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

  Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut?

(...) Right now the only confirmed pieces are 4x tan in #3579 NHL Street Hockey ($19.99 in May), but now that the mold has been tooled up, I'm sure more colors will become available. (21 years ago, 7-Mar-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

Re: HP Knight Bus - 4755

(...) You're right, I confused the engine cover one. (It was a quick inventory from the instructions on the train this morning!) (...) Agreed again. I though they were easy to follow though (important for the kids who build!) William (21 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut?

(...) That's exactly what it does. You're supposed to just slap the thing down over top of the chosen minifig, press the button, quickly lift the shack away, and leave the other minifig/dog/whatever standing exactly where the original minifig was. (...) (21 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

  Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut?

(...) I wondered if it was something to make the shack move on its foundations. That picture suggests its like a giant version of the mechanism in a retractable biro though. Maybe you press the top in, and a compartment inside rotates to swap one (...) (21 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

Re: HP Knight Bus - 4755

(...) I just got one - thanks for the tip about Argos. I didn't notice any 2x4x1&1/3 curved-top brick. I think they're all 1x4. The pink flesh colour isn't very convincing, and looks a little weird on a minifig - particularly in the included (...) (21 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  HP Knight Bus - 4755

HP Knight Bus - 4755 The new HP Knight Bus is now available in limited quantities in the UK The colour of the bus is either a new colour or a previously very rare one - see my postings with pictures either here or BrickLink/Colors A quick part count (...)   Re: Color confusion regarding 4755 Kinght Bus

The HP Knight Bus (4755) is now available in limited quantities in the UK. I have two of these next to me as I type ... (...) There is a very, very slight colour variation between the bricks/plates and the windows/curved parts but it could be due to (...) (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: Color confusion regarding 4755 Kinght Bus

(...) Hmm. I saw it in person and I never even noticed a color discrepency. I was about to chalk it up entirely to digital camera oddness, but my pics show a difference (if noticably less pronounced) as well: (URL) 1x4 quarter-round bricks are also (...)   my tower of HP new set (link added)

sorry, I forgot the URL. Here are the pics of my version of the new HP sets (Castle, Hagrid's Hut). (URL) Bargerbos (21 years ago, 25-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Sets for book 5!

I saw this pic on brickshelf and it reminded me of a set that would be great for book 5. The room with the prophesies (sp?) except the heads wouldnt be in them. Some clear quidditch balls would work well too. (URL) --Jeff (21 years ago, 24-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: Color confusion regarding 4755 Kinght Bus

(...) Check out Knights Kingdom 8770, Purple LargeFig. This "purple" is definitely another color than the tub-purple, not just a different shade. The 8770 purple is like "dark bluish purple" (dark violet?), where the 7837 is more like "reddish (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) Hi, here's an additional picture (although it doesn't explain what use this piece has): (URL) Some more pictures of new sets made at the german 'Spielwarenmesse Nürnberg 2002' by 1000steine.de member Heiko 'heikoloogi' Baum you can see here: (...)   Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut?

(...) I initially assumed that it was the device to make a shrieking sound... because why would it need batteries. So maybe it still does make a shrieking sound. You get 2 Professor Lupin minifigs... one without a wolf-head and one with. As far as I (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Shrieking Shack one-piece hut?

In this pic: (URL) appears to be a one-piece hut in this set (along with a lot of other very nice pieces). Anyone know more about this? Kevin ---...--- Farmhouse kit: (URL) TOWN PLANNING information: (URL) Lego parts store: (URL) Guild of (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: New Hair ?

(...) Indeed. When you compare the link above to this pic on BL, they do appear to be the same piece in a different color (orange or dark orange)... (URL) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: Color confusion regarding 4755 Kinght Bus

(...) I don't wanna sound rude, but why are all your messages written in uppercase letters? It makes it look like you are shouting, which goes against proper internet etiquette... -Bryan (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)
