(...) My initial reaction was cool! Then I thought more and decided that I wish it was actually a regular head. I'd also have preferred the Ewoks to be a regular head with printed torsos and use the forester cowl, the Star Wars cowl, or possibly a (...) So, the Gringott's Bank set has goblin heads with protruding ears and such. Are these a good idea in general, or best used sparingly? I figure that you can accept these heads as just one more special piece like beards and hairdos, or worry about the (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.general)

Using parts from the Harry Potter sets (particularly the new 4712 "Troll on the Loose" one) it is now all too easy to construct a Headless Horseman mini-fig. I threw this one together and snapped a few pics using the new camera (combo s-vhsc (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.harrypotter) !

I just received today the Consumer Affairs package to send the defective pieces back, so I will keep everyone informed as to what happens. (...) You're right! I hadn't thought of that but the troll head does look a lot like The Phantom. I was thinking of it as "another zombie head." I just purchased 7 sets of stairs from the 4709 set and all the stairs were OK I purchased 2 sets before that but they were not built so I could comfirm. It seem to me that the majority of bad stairs are in the smaller set. Its totally random. Mine (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.general)
