Basically the problem is it is plastic and they have to make a mold to hold
the torso's then they have to transfer the image you want on the plastic using
a special type of paint or ink that will stay on the plastic, much like
MotherBoards. Its not a cheap process, might be able to go done to $4 but
still, plastic is much different than cloth. They make 1000 torsos a sheet so
thats a reminder of what type of work it takes to make sure all 1000 stay
still. Trust me I felt the same way, but when you think about allot of people
paying $5 for falcon torso's or rarer think of the fact that there would only
be 1000 torso's in the world. and there is no copyright problem due to lego
never making a crusader emblem of course the other option would be stickers
trasparent with the crosses and that would be allot cheaper!
