Re: New SW contest proposal —David Thomas Jr.
Would it cost the same to get $5.00 in american currency? For such a small amount, it would not be such a big deal to send cash in the mail. -Dave Jr. (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New SW contest proposal —Tamyra Teed
not that I'd join in on this, right now I don't have the time to build much and I'm already running short on the halloween contest... though I have a couple things to say: 1. I don't know you from Adam... Maybe you just haven't posted much, or (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New SW contest proposal —David Thomas Jr.
I'm not a frequent poster, and have only come out of my "Dark Ages" recently. I am however an avid AFOL (check out my site), and I have made some posts to these News groups. I'm definitely not trying to scheme anybody out of money. I don't think (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New SW contest proposal —Tom McDonald
(...) I do applaud your effort and the spirit behind the contest. (...) One of the reasons is that AFOL's are often some of the busiest people. I want enter a model in Pat's contest, and I told him I might, but I have to polish up my model first, (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New SW contest proposal —David Thomas Jr.
I am planning on starting this contest later in the year. But, if it goes as I hope, I will hold contests on all sorts of subjects, one after the other, with a lead up time to let people know what contests are coming, and what the deadlines are. (...)           Re: New SW contest proposal —Greg Majewski
(...) That's one of the reasons I entered Pat Justison's contest; to see if I could beat any AFOLs and their huge creations, though I'm not exactly 12. (2 years older to be exact) (...) I'd pay my own fee, thankyouverymuch. Greg "I can't think of (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New SW contest proposal —David Thomas Jr.
Are you sure it's illegal? I always knew it was risky, but illegal? Why would it be? -Dave Jr. (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New SW contest proposal —Toki Barron

Re: New SW contest proposal —Fredrik Glöckner
(...) I figure that if people had a habit of sending cash in the mail, the mailboxes and mailmen would be robbed more frequently? It's a sane law, in my opinion. Fredrik (25 years ago, 31-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)
