I find the kids creations pages.. no members.. are there different mags (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: July LEGO Mania Magazine —Steve Bliss
(...) Kids are the members. I *think* it's July(/August?), with Spaceport on the cover. In each issue, there is a two-page spread with photos kids (or kids++) have sent in, showing what they've built. Ed Boxer's White Castle appeared on those pages (...)      (...) Fire Truck? (Grabs Mania magazine from mail and looks) Wow, that is a great model, makes me want to scrap all my fire trucks and start over again. Looks like it is built as an 8 stud wide vehicle. Someone hold back John Neal, Mr. 8 wide. (...) (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: July LEGO Mania Magazine —Josh Spaulding
(...) I'm just starting to build 6 and 8 wide cars and trucks (robots and spaceships are more of my staple), and while I think those are pretty good widths relative to minfig width, I find that the vehicles end up looking ridiculous on my road (...)           Re: July LEGO Mania Magazine —Fredrik Glöckner
(...) Just imagine a 10 studs wide train negotiating the tight curves of the LEGO tracks! Now, that would be a sight. If I was into LEGO trains, which I'm not, I would probably have recognized that LEGO trains cannot be realistic looking with the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: July LEGO Mania Magazine —Steve Bliss
(...) Yeah, that was it. Not quite as nice as some stuff that's been announced here on Lugnet, but still quite cool. Mania magazine should do an article on those nutty adults who play with LEGO and put their creations on websites. Steve (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

I forgot to mention: that is a really cool 2-page ad for Mindstorms. I wonder if they'll run that anywhere else? Steve Why didn't anyone tell me about Hamsterdance? (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)
