  Re: windows (strange colored )

(...) Jeff is correct. They are very hard to come by. Windows are my specialty (oh heck, what isn't my specialty, heh-heh). I have about 800 of the 1x2x2 windows, which includes 300 red, 250 white, 200 yellow, 50 blue, 2 black and none in grey. And (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: windows (strange colored )

Many thanks to Jeff for identifying the set #, as it jogged my memory. I checked up and found that I do indeed have these grey windows and I'm quite willing to trade them, particularly for grey inverted (and normal) slopes and also grey (and dark (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: windows (strange colored )

I have corresponded with Paul on this. First off, these 10 windows are indeed from a complete 7740. So I admonished him that he really should seriously consider NOT trading these away as they are very hard to come by, but instead should keep his (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: windows (strange colored )

Larry, You are indeed correct! I can't imagine anyone wanting to sell those 10 grey windows. They are a part of that Intercity Train set. Since Paul is new to the group, we certainly don't want to take advantage of that fact (unless he was well (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) windows, but I can't remember the numbers. They are a Dacta window & door set from a few years ago (wish I would have bought some of them!), the Derby Trotter, and one of the basic sets a few years ago. There are a few more, but I can't (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: windows (strange colored )

(...) I'm not positive, but I think one or two may have come in a more recent set. I am pretty sure they were the 1x4x5s that are almost all glass, with just grey around the edge. Actually, he doesn't have them anymore. I just cleaned him out of the 2x2 classic windows in all colors at 9:30 this morning (Red, Yellow and Blue). I have a new habit - Classic scale! Mike (...) (oh (...) buy (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: windows (strange colored )

(...) There is a 1x4x5 gray door w/ 4 windows (see (URL) ) in Fort Legoredo, and I believe the Gold City Junction also has a 1x4x5 gray glass door (opens right) and 1x4x5 window. -Mike (25 years ago, 12-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)
