  The bikkie tins are back...

For those interested, BigW at Broadmeadows had small pale blue tins of Bikkies (Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies) with pictures of a range of "CITY" sets from this year's range. Inside you will find 200gms of Bikkies, plus 1 of: A small "City" Police jet (...) (19 years ago, 17-Oct-05, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Quadrachnid update: Omega version

The Quadrachnid Omega version has larger legs than its predecessor and features a variation on Marcus Clancy's dual-ball joint assembly (Thanks again, MC). I also has a new fang design, a shorter neck, and a jointed abdomen. Check it out- (URL) (19 years ago, 17-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

Re: posting msgs with images help

(...) Hi Dave, I feel your pain. :) Posting images can be a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, you'll find it's not too bad. To get an image to show up in the body of the message you need to do two things: 1) Make sure you are posting (...) (19 years ago, 16-Oct-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  posting msgs with images help

I tried to post a msg with images but only the link to the image shows up. What is the syntax for getting the image to load in the message? I see the '<<img>>' help, but can't figure out what to type in. Is it <<img (URL) or <<img ...com/...jpg>> or (...) (19 years ago, 16-Oct-05, to lugnet.general)

  town scene with 1:87 vehicles

All, In anticipation of a move, I am packing up my Lego collection (a sad thing to do). Before packing the final boxed sets I decided to build a town scene with some of my oldest sets and 1:87 vehicles. Enjoy, (URL) can view lots of pics at (URL) am (...)   Darkageinosis: Research for a Cure

After suffering from increased symptoms of Dimageanomia for over a year, I am now fearful that recent tests will read positive that my condition has deteriorated into Darkageinosis.   Re: 1356 Stunt Man Catapult Cheap

(...) Heh, they're all gone, I now have 15 of em. Now I can do the 15 stunt man salute. *cough cough* Okay, bad joke. Whatever happened to the Studio series, btw? I mean, Steven Spielberg as a minifig rocks. (19 years ago, 14-Oct-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Hurricane relief toy drive

Anthony, Well, you were too late for my contribution - I had already donated 13 of the bonus Duplo buckets and 7 4107s at the local shelter set up for Katrina refugees before hearing of this drive. I guess I was "lucky" in that I could make a local (...) (19 years ago, 13-Oct-05, to lugnet.general)

  1356 Stunt Man Catapult Cheap

I just found the greatest find at the local Dollar Queen in Ellsworth Maine, they have the 1356 Stunt Man Catapult, which is a great source of "caution stripes" decoration plates (among other parts) for a dollar a box (normally like $3 or $4). They (...) (19 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO® Blocked by Best-Lock

(...) They're not... In the Netherlands, MegaBlocks started a similair trial, lost and since sales of Brick, MegaBlocks and the like are illegal in the Netherlands.   Re: LEGO® Blocked by Best-Lock

(...) That's a good question. I have some Best-Lock instruction books (but no boxes) from '98 or '99, and I'll check them when I get home to see if the logo included a brick. I didn't realize that about the LEGO logo. Hmm... (...) Very true. There (...) (19 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO® Blocked by Best-Lock

(...) <snip> (...) It's interesting that the Best-Lock logo uses their version of a 1 x 6 brick, not a 2 x 4 brick design. Did they change from a 2 x 4 logo during the course of this suit? Lego used to use the 2 x 4 as part of the "SYSTEM" logo, but (...) (19 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO® Blocked by Best-Lock

(...) This is good news! I can’t think of a single reason why any company should be empowered to dictate which competitors are and are not allowed into the market, so this victory will benefit consumers and competitors alike. Besides which, anyone (...) (19 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
