Thanks to everyone for the info on the Viking sets. Looks like I won’t be able
to put them on my wishlist for my birthday in early September, but I am
certainly glad to hear that these sets *will* be available in the US. Because,
you know, they’re awesome.
I was just reading about the rise and fall of the Viking settlements in
Greenland in Jared Diamond’s Collapse, and it got me all excited to get the new
sets. I wonder if the Inuit will appear as the Vikings’ nemesis in the 2006
sets. Or maybe it will be soil erosion.
