here is yesterday's headline from cnet: Yahoo relents on GeoCities terms http://www.news.com/News/Item/0,4,0-38643,00.html?st.ne.140.head but read down into the article, and one user claim "there is no substantive change". check out the boycott site at: http://www.sitepowerup.com/boycottyahoo/boycottyahoo.htm You don't have to convince me to boycott them- I usually ignore web pages on geocities anyway because of the annoying popup advertisement. -- dave

(...) Does this mean that material submitted to Geocities before they were bought out by Yahoo! is subject to the same interpretation? I certainly didn't submit my works to Yahoo!... (...) I personally have no stance here, as I published my works in (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)
