| Keep your eyes open for digital camera based on Sound Vision ((URL) technology. My company (Mentor Graphics) helped Sound Vision design the chip set (shameless plug) that is the brains of the camera. Although SoundVision does not plan to market the (...) | Frank points out the one of biggest problem with digital cameras, the best point and shoot digital cameras have distortion problems that are totally unacceptable by 35mm SLR standards. | If you do a deja search on rec.photo.digital. I did after I first heard of Imagek, and found that they've been promising their EFS product will be ready "real soon now" for the last two years, constantly pushing back the deadline for release.
