(...) Darrell, I am not 100% sure, but I think you are describing the 1:43 scale model cars that Lego made in the early to mid 1950's, BUT they were not part of the LEGO System. The box tops and pictures on the boxes of these cars/trucks do not show (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.dk)

  Re: Anyone read Danske Modelbiler?

I'd still love to have some of these, as I'm as much of a gearhead (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.dk, FTX)

  Re: Anyone read Danske Modelbiler?

(...) Hey Darrell, Nice advertisement. This is the first time I have seen the 1:43 trucks advertised with Lego bricks. Since this is the mid-1950's, the bricks were slotted bricks. The Lego windows of that era fit between the slots, not onto the (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.dk, FTX)

(...) Wow, thanks Martin! Now I REALLY want one of these things! And I know a bunch of Chevy guys who'd think the same.. If it's not to pushy to ask, could you do this one too?
