I was listening to National Public Radio All Things Considered when a segment
was aired that had me laughing outloud.
Apparently, in Germany they are holding a contest for the German's Language Most
Pleasing Word.

| (...) My favorite words when I took German in high school were, strangely enough, Kartoffel, which means potato, and zufrieden, which means content. | Well, having just returned I'd have to say there are too many to choose from, but I've always had a certain fondness for 'Schmetterling', and 'bleib' just comes to mind for some reason... As for English, I've always liked 'crepuscular' for what it (...) (20 years ago, 29-Jun-04, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
