1x3x2 and 1x4x2 windows have not been used again since 1980, in white not since
1970 for the 1x3x2 and 1975 for the 1x4x2

1x2x2 Black 1980-1983
1x2x2 Blue 1980-1997
1x2x2 Gray 1980
1x2x2 Red 1957-2002
1x2x2 White 1961-2000
1x2x2 Yellow 1966-1997

1x3x2 Blue 1980
1x3x2 Red 1957-1980
1x3x2 White 1958-1970

1x4x2 Red 1957-1980
1x4x2 White 1958-1975

I don't know about the legoland parks.

Niels

Thanks Niels,

I agree that the last time Lego made a 1x3x2 window in white (in a set) was in
1970.  However, I have 2 examples of this window in white that have no window
"sills".  This means that they were produced after 1972.

I just found the "smoking gun".... on page 145 of "The World of Lego Toys" there
is a Miniland scene of what looks like old Chester England.  The leftmost half
timbered building in the picture (blue roof) has 1x4x2 windows.  The building to
the right of it (red roof) has the 1x2x2 windows, and across the street from it
is a gray roofed building that has 1x3x2 windows (with buildings on either side
of it (red roof) with the 1x2x2 windows.  All the windows are white.

So if Legoland still uses the 1x4x2 and 1x3x2 windows (buildings need to be
replaced after a few years of sunlight and weather damage), then they probably
still have the molds to make these.

And doesn't TLG pride itself in making buildings in Legoland with the average
pieces available to the public????? (Although I still wonder how they got enough
pink pieces together to build a baroque palace???)

That is why I want someone to check out the Legoland Miniland, to see if this is
still the case.  And if so, someone should notify TLG that they are using pieces
not available to the public (as if that matters to them).
