I zipped thru a TRU the other day, and saw something new.

Sets marked as "Classic".  I was in a bit of a hurry, so I did not have a
chance to do a close examination.   I saw two sets, a large box on the lower
shelf, and a small one near the top.  The color on the the boxes had a strong
black component.  I plan on going back down there to take a closer look at the
piece count, prices, and what is in them.  So more on this to follow.

Anybody else see these yet?  What are they?  And why haven't I seen any
mention of these before?  I was stunned to see something totally new and
unknown to me, as I thought I was pretty much 'in the loop' on TLG product
lines.  :-/

That appears to be the 'new' line of basic sets.  The numbering scheme is in
the 42xx range (4215, 4217, 4222, etc), and the contents don't appear to be
much different from other basic sets.
