Re: LEGO > SYSTEM > Town > The Times

Neat idea, one thing though... (...) This should really be set #1969, and rather than a computer shop it ought to be a bunch of minifigs in lab coats (over UCLA T-shirts or something) and those Clark Kent black-rimmed glasses, wearing pocket (...)   135+ 2x4 in a PAB cup! Stacking easily.

Here is how we found best to stack blocks and get the most out of your $12.95 cup at Pick-a-Brick. Starting at the bottom you can place 20 1x2's in the moat. Next row looks as follows...... (URL) that I placed a few 1x4's in were they would fit. I (...) (22 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO > SYSTEM > Town > The Times

(...) Right, right, right....I got it already! The set numbers being years *MIGHT* be a bit confusing. People would definitely associate them with the year these things are actually happening. I was instead thinking any set with a #197x number would (...) (22 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: LEGO > SYSTEM > Town > The Times

Hi, Dave. (...) These MOCs sound really cool, but I keep clicking on the descriptions and the links don't seem to work! What gives? Surely the top story on LUGNET couldn't be a post about hypothetical MOCs that don't really exist! I'll just keep (...) (22 years ago, 6-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: 4405 Blue tub (1305 pieces) now available from S@H (UK)

(...) Looks very comparative to the 4400 Tub. Obviously many differences, but still the lone 3x3 double convex slopes, lone 2x4 slopes and double slopes, etc. I do however envy these pieces: Trans-Light Blue Brick, Modified 2 x 4 with Curved Top - (...)   Re: Pick-a-brick Packing website?

(...) IIRC, yes-- I might have been able to squeeze in a few more if it was "barely on". (...) I layed them in with studs facing sideways, stacked on their short ends (so the edge it's laying on is the 2-stud wide, 1 brick tall face). I stacked them (...)   Re: Pick-a-brick Packing website?

(...) Was the lid still able to 'lock on' with the 137? I can fit 124 2x4's into the large container with the top locking on, and i can fit 140 with the top just placed on top and looking like it fits (but not locking). What pattern are you using to (...) "David Eaton" <deaton@intdata.com> wrote in message news:Hny5x7.1DE6@lugnet.com... <snip> Although we didn't check thoroughly, it appeared that we could actually fit FEWER flowers by stacking than by haphazardly dumping-- So I'd guess when your (...) (22 years ago, 6-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)
