135+ 2x4 in a PAB cup! Stacking easily.

Here is how we found best to stack blocks and get the most out of your $12.95
cup at Pick-a-Brick.
Starting at the bottom you can place 20 1x2's in the moat.
Next row looks as follows......

Notice that I placed a few 1x4's in were they would fit.
I did the same all the way to the top.
Each layer you can add another brick or two as the cup gets larger toward the
top. You can get 4 rows stacked in with enough room as the top to place another
14 2x4's and a couple 2x2's.
The cup will disform a little toward the bottom as you push down but the top
will fit on and lock!
Packing this way results in......
135-2x4's
23-1x4's
20-1x2's
2-2x2's
Total of 180 items with a building value of more than 150 2x4 blocks!
Plus there is a little room for a few plates also.
Just tossing them in the cup will get you somewhere between 80 and 90 2x4's.
At least that is what I found.
