(...) Oh - I have to see the others on brickshelf :) (...) Hey - sh.. - I saw you ! I made a Foto of your T-shirt - but against the sunlight and nothing to see on it. I thought you would wear something like "1000steine"-Tshirt.... Next time ! :) (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

New critter - The Goblin Mage

Hey Lenny! I got a new creature for ya! Whilest looking for more Stingray heads for my puny Goblin Horde, I came upon this idea. It's nothing spectacular, but I added it to my website. Check out my Goblin Mage. (URL) Malevolent Beings of Ikros> Oh, (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX)

  SAH Summer Catalog: WOW!

Hey all, Just got it in the mail today. The new curved slope pieces and trans-smoke color have really exploded across the themes. I'll leave it to someone else to provide an itemized list of all the new parts and stuff, but man, it's going to be a (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: What else do you do when you build?

Even if I did put some music on, it would quickly fade to white noise once my hands touch bricks. The world disappears and my sensation of time greatly distorted. I actually sweat rather heavily if I'm in the middle of a stimulating project (aren't (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-03, to lugnet.general)

Ikros: Chaos Skies - Chapter 3 Online

Hey folks, I know it's been a while since I've posted anything to my story. I don't know how many of you I've lost as readers, but I hope to win you back somehow! Maybe I'll even gain a few new readers while I'm at it. Before you read the chapter I (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX) !

Re: What else do you do when you build?

(...) Whoops, that should have ended with something like "and I've even typed in some short e-mail replies while building". See what happens when I'm assaulted by horrible evil silence (right now the local FOX station is having major technical (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: What else do you do when you build?

(...) Everything. Usually it's just TV/movies, but sometimes it's supplemented by internet/e-mail (yes, I do sometimes surf the internet while building, and I've even ). Rarely I'll just listen to music, and even more rarely I'll chat on the phone. (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: What else do you do when you build?

I listen to a local country station, or I watch History Channel (especially when I'm building weaponry of some sort :^) ). I find that the music lets me focus. -Stefan- (22 years ago, 9-Jul-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 1000Steineland 2003 images

(...) (URL) Thanks Jan-Albert! You have been faster than me once again.... I wanted to do a Lugnet posting this evening, but now I see you have already told nearly everything we have seen at the 1000steine-Land 2003 in Berlin. Maybe I should add a (...)   Re: What else do you do when you build?

(...) The theme I'm building to really doesn't dictate my music preferences, though. When I'm working with a design, or writing out my ideas, I usually do so to the beat of classical music, jazz and occasionally techno or hip-hop. (Which is the (...)   Re: What else do you do when you build?

(...) I can usually only do one thing at a time. When I build, I just build. I rarely put music on, although this is partly due to the fact that the rest of the family is asleep. I find that building consumes my attention completely and I hardly (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.general)

What else do you do when you build?

Hey all, I was tinkering with my small assortment of elements in my bot factory earlier, and I realized it was quiet. So much so that it was deafening. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt many of us build with nothing else going on. After thinking about it (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: 1000steine-Land in Berlin - Gallery

Hi Kai! (...) Thank you very much for the pictures! Now there are lots of 1000steine-Land-pictures on BrickShelf but alas most of them are darkish due to the suboptimal lighting conditions in the exhibition room. Yours are the best I've seen so far.   An Ikros: Chaos Skies teaser (if anyone still cares)

This one is actually taken from a bigger picture from Chapter 3, but I didn't want to give too much away so I cropped it for the teaser. (URL) --Anthony (URL) The Kingdom of Ikros> (URL) Ikros: Chaos Skies> (22 years ago, 7-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Automated fulfillment? Picking and Packing on steroids?

Tommy, I've gotta echo what Jeff said. It's a great idea, and one many Lego CAD users have had at one time or another. TLC even alluded to such a system when the first teased the Lego Digital Designer (or whatever it's called). BUT, it is a (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jul-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)
