The theme I’m building to really doesn’t dictate my music
preferences, though. When I’m working with a design, or
writing out my ideas, I usually do so to the beat of classical
music, jazz and occasionally techno or hip-hop. (Which is the
always misunderstood, black sheep of the musical genre, I guess.
But hey, theres a lot of overlooked genius there.) Just take some
of my lyrics [1] I write.
Lots of free time? Well, yes :)
Back to discussion, though , before someone complains about
this paritcular post being OT :)
The above of course, is for longer build sessions - which are
not surprisingly rare. Otherwise, I just break out my collection
and build to the chirping of crickets (yes, they’re very common
in urban/ desert terrain.) and the whirring of my overhead fan.

Well, aside from listening to music, drawing up design details for
future projects or writing out my next order for bricklink.

| Hey all, I was tinkering with my small assortment of elements in my bot factory earlier, and I realized it was quiet. So much so that it was deafening. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt many of us build with nothing else going on. After thinking about it (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.general)
