Need help to guesstimate the size of my collection!

Hey all,
If the stars are in their proper alignment, I may be profiled on the show
"Ultimate Collectors" for Home & Garden Television! I have a phone
interview possibly tomorrow, after which my interviewer will pitch her story
to the company. If her bosses like it, I could have the fifteen minutes
promised me by Mr. Warhol! I spoke to my contact today and the first
question she asked me was how pieces are in my collection? The truth is, I
have no idea! I guessed at 500,000, which is most likely overshooting the
mark. I have a picture of the bulk of my collection on the main page of my
website:

It's the second picture, just scroll down a bit. This pic doesn't show
everything, but I would guess that it represents about 75% of what I own.
Can anyone give me a ballpark figure? I'd love to have a more accurate
number to provide for the interview, and it would great to mention how the
Lugnet community helped me out. If they actually come to my apartment, I'll
be sure to wear my Lugnet t-shirt with pride!

| (...) I have a pretty accurate count of my bricks, and I weigh in at 203,000 bricks. At a rough guess, I'd say my collection is a bit more than what you've got in the picture volume-wise. I'd guess about 150,000 is shown in the picture-- and if (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

| Dave, If your collection is 500K, then I'd better not even THINK about how large mine is ;-) Take your Iris cart collection, and multiply it by 3. That's all my new bricks. If I can get all the rest of the bricks into Iris carts, add at least what (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)
