Wassssup Everyone, I noticed this a few weeks ago, but didn't think anything of it at the time. While playing around with a chrome broadsword, I noticed comes off kind of easily revealing a pale, sand yellow color. I thought it was a defective (...) (...) Hi Sean, How are you? Yes it happens to me with the first chrome broadsword and the first crown I had, since I loved them to much, I didn't leave them for a minute. Since then all the chrome parts I have are hardly touched, not with sweaty or (...) (22 years ago, 10-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

(...) Salutations. Well, I know that it's happened to me before. Except mine revealed a sort of milky-clear color. I've often wondered if you could completely remove all the chrome off of something to get a clear version -- probably not, as a few (...) (22 years ago, 11-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

(...) Greetings, I saw someone awhile back that posted a fig holding a chrome sword that had all the chrome removed. They called it their crystal sword. I forget who it was (if you read this, please identify yourself!). It was a milky white color, (...) (22 years ago, 11-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

(...) Yes, swords are definitely milky clear inside the chrome. I had one badly damaged chrome sword which I've slowly been working on turning into a milky clear sword... Frank (22 years ago, 11-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

this happens from the ph of the oil in your skin not moisture like water. in fact if you want to preserve your parts you may want to wash them thouroghly with a particularly non abrasive soap to remove any traces of human contact. This also happens (...) (22 years ago, 12-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

(...) Thanks, William! That looks cool. The other person did the whole sword but I like how you left the hilt chrome and the blade is "crystal." Really is neat. Josh Wedin (22 years ago, 12-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

Just wanted to thank everyone who responded. I was worried at first b/c I though my swords were the only ones that split like that. It does look cool though when you take it off purposely. Thanks again! Hasta la Vista, Sean (22 years ago, 13-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)
