Hi all! Have you ever thought abou the maximum washing temperature for dirty Lego® bricks? At what temperature will Lego® bricks get damaged - for e.g. in summer in your car or in your house's Lego® room under the roof? I did the ultimate test (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jul-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.faq, lugnet.storage, lugnet.build.minifigs) !!

(...) Can you comment on the shine of the elements? I have observed some discoloration (whitening or fading) when elements are overheated when in too hot water. Did you see any of that? The very melted elements seem quite shiny. Thanks for doing (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jul-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) Well, as far as I know, Obi-Wan (if you watched Star Wars, you will know the reference), a few years ago, LEGO suggested in its catalogs that if you plan on washing your elements to never go above 104 degrees Farenheit (or however you spell (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.general)

(URL) guess I can thank you for doing all the work for me. I envisioned an arrangement using similar melted bricks as the logo for what may one day be the Arizona LUG. Just to help those, who think in Farenheit: Celsius Fahrenheit -20 = -4 -10 = 14 0 = 32 10 = 50 20 = 68 30 = 86 40 = 104 50 = 122 60 = (...)
