How many pinks are there —Ray Sanders
While putzing around with 4721 Hogwarts™ Classrooms, I noticed that the two elements that appear to be DkPink, are not the same shade. The town seats are a slightly warmer shade of DkPink than the little 1 x 1 round plates with the rounded (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) Too late....I heard that. Now when will these be available in shops (not at home) ? (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: How many pinks are there —Melody Brown
(...) Apparently (possibly, hopefully) these could be out around March, lets cross fingers and hope! :) (in line with the 20% off would work wonders) Mel (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) two (...) are (...) Keep calm, Pete! I have 4721 Hogwarts Classrooms and its little friends 4722 Gryffindor Tower and 4723 Diagnon Alley, and to my eyes at least, the pink appears to be the same colour on all of the pink parts in these sets.          Harry Potter "scala" sets (was: How many pinks are there) —Kerry Raymond
(...) Actually, the thing that does strike me as a bit odd is that you can't easily incorporate these HP Scala sets into Hogwarts Castle or any of the other "part of Hogwarts" sets. Logically you would think that there would be some open 8x8 spaces (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: How many pinks are there —Ray Sanders
(...) One addition test I failed to mention: take the little 1x1 round 'scala-esq' plates, put on the top of something that has a "nominal" shade of DkPink (I used one of the big lattice-work room divider panels from Belville 5860 *or* take one of (...) I took a number of pieces off the HP sets (which are currently cluttering up my dining room table) and took them together to compare them on top of one another. And I agree that at some angles the (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.general)

Re: How many pinks are there —Ray Sanders
(...) My theory goes something like this... There is very little that happens with Lego parts that TLC did not do intentionally. The flipped staircases notches may be one of the very few that I can recall. It is possible that the parts were made at (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.general)

(...) coming (...) I'm a semi-regular visitor to the Port of Brisbane Authority and accustomed to seeing the grain handlers there. So now I have a mental image of a port in Denmark with vast silos of dubiously-dark-pink Scala plates being sucked up (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.general)

Re: How many pinks are there —Kerry Raymond
(...) a (...) muted (...) Well, I dunno. I'll grant that the little Scala round plates do look a little lighter but it seems to be the way they reflect light. I took all the pink pieces from the 4721 and its friends 4722 and 4723 out into strong (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.general)
