Re: Head to Head - The Battle of the Road Kings —Thomas Main
What a neat page. I had a lot of fun looking at all the different trucks. My vote goes to: (URL) think this one is the most detailed, especially in the trailer section. This would make a good mobile television crew truck too (I dislike Lego's (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Trouble is that these big trucks have trouble negotiating the tight curves of LegoLand streets. The car carrier is the worst taking up the entire width of the road when turning. Sanjay (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) You call those big? :) I bet you could fit most of those trucks inside the trailer of my truck (one at a time, of course): (URL) we should have a competition of maniac-created trucks.       (...) That sounds great! For a parts limit, I would suggest about 1000 or 1500 pieces... Maybe we could have separate categories based on the number of pieces or separated into tractors, trailers, and entire trucks. You could also judge in certain (...)      So I guess my 56 stud long SWAT truck wouldn't fit in a city, huh? ;-) Hmm, maybe I can rip it apart and turn it into a double-trailer setup. But it looks so much cooler as a giant trailer. Maybe I'll just build a separate dual-trailer, and see if I (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

Oh, come on Tom, if you work for the police on a surveillance mission, don't you want to have 2 huge person-size signs saying Police on the sides? (J/K) I like this set a lot also, I have two. One I bought myself, the other coming from my mom. She (...) (26 years ago, 20-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)
