Hmmm - I wouldn't have said two years in the UK, because they weren't
released here until August 1997 - so here it was little more than one
year before they were down to - in the case of the second biggest set -
less than half price.

Yeah, the UFO's were better than the insectoids - I will confess to
having bought the two big ones but only because they were so cheap.
Those huge quarter-circle bricks that go round the edge would be extremely
useful if they weren't covered with UFO markings making them pretty useless
for anything except UFOs. Plus Lego 'forgot' to do the equivalent bricks
to go underneath the UFO's. If they'd done that, then you'd be able to
build some _really_ good spaceships.
