    Totally non-Lego, but... —Matt Brooks
Can I just say I am in LOVE with the Harry Potter books? I asked for them for Christmas, and my mom got me one and two. (She couldn't find the rest in paperback, and I hate hard cover). I had my nose buried in No. one (after I spent the morning (...) (24 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) I've bought some hardcover LEGO books, but then as far as I know, it's the only way to stretch for ultimate Pirate completeness (which is eluding me by one set, one book, some service packs, any keychains, all variants of boxes and (...)    (...) You'll have to wait at least a few months before you get to read the other two, then. Book 2 just came out in paperback a few months ago. (...) I'm looking forward to it, too. I just hope it lives up to my expectations. (24 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Totally non-Lego, but... —Tamyra Teed
Having read all 4 of the books now, I'm really looking forward to this too, as long as it's not duplo'ish or jr'ized... I want to see the Owlry, (lots of different colored owls) the Whomping Tree! Dungeons, Great Hall, The shops in Town, All the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Naw, it's just a very small owl that Ron owns. How and Who and why I won't tell :) Tamy (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Totally non-Lego, but... —Matt Brooks
(...) Ron finally gets an owl? How cool... I looked at the hardcovers yesterday but that's a bit much to spend on a book, especially when I don't like to read them. I'll just draw it out and wait until the paperbacks come. Matt (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Totally non-Lego, but... —Matt Brooks
(...) Reviewing this, I realized it doesn't make sense. What I was refering to was not liking to read HARDcover books. I LOVE to read, and especially the Harry Potter line. I'll just shut up now. Matt (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Totally non-Lego, but... —Tom Stangl
If you join The Literary Guild, they have all 4 HP books. I joined specifically to get them, and plan on buying book 5 (and maybe 6, depending on how fast they come out) to help close out the minimum required. If I remember right, it cost me about (...)    (...) Think Library, shouldn't cost a thing unless you don't return it on time, might be a waiting list to check it out though. Mike (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)
