COD is a GREAT idea. I don't know anything really there right now, except
a few friends who attend. I've cc'ed one on this (non-AFOL) and hopefully
he can find out some info. Depending on how many people we'll have, it
might be better to do it at a house. My house would be ok for it, but I'm
getting ready to go away to school and things are kinda a mess here. Also
- my mom has MS and the stress might be too much for her.
It looks like we'll have about 10 people if we go with what we have
now. I'm sure you can count Brandon Grifford (my Zacktron counterpart) and
Jameson Gagnepain (lives in St. Charles) in too. I'd hope that Mookie and
Mike Perri would be able to make it down from WI. Larry P, Steve Bliss
from MI as well???

Yeah I know. Unfortunately there's like 30 afol's in the Chicago area,
mostly lurkers :\ Wish we could get something bigger here.

Banquet hall would even be too big. I'd love to have it at my place again,
but I doubt it will happen.
What date are we looking at??

Again, I can look into my HS - it was free to use when I was attending
there, but it might be different now that its summer, and that I'm out.

If you could do that, it would be great.

Definitely!!

Hmmm....Paul Foster was kinda spearheading GMLUG. But we're so spread out
that there hasn't even been an official GMLUG fest :\ Its pretty much a
hopeless cause, unless we get some central (lower WI and Chicago) AFOLs to
de-lurk.
Thanks for the enthusiasm, keep in touch about this.

| Here's a followup: I just threw together a page on Lugnet for fest gathering info. As more info comes in, I'll help out by editing this page: (URL) this helps!! -Tim (24 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.wi.mil, lugnet.loc.us.wi, lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.il.chi, lugnet.loc.us.in, lugnet.loc.us.in.ind, lugnet.loc.us.mi)
