His response claimed to have got my address from my roll call form. Which
is NOT what that's for. To add insult to injury, it means that he claims
to have read that my interest is Technic rather than town. But he thought
I might like his advertisement anyway.
Yes, we have to agree to disagree. To me, any kind of unsolicited
advertising that I have to pay to receive is spam. And I refuse to deal
with them.

So suggest a better non-gender-specific English pronoun. I have used
s/he/it but people objected. "It" at least is relatively neutral, and
short.
But you're right in a way, I would have liked to have been very direct,
but wasn't.
