Re: Summer Shop at Home Catalog just arrived!! —Bradley Dale
(...) I've been waiting for this. Hopefully mine is on the way right now! (...) It is nice to see the buses lowered from the $22.00 in the small pamphlet that comes with the sets. Are all buses S@H exclusives? (...) Again lowered from $16.50 in (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) They were lowered from $22 because they now charge shipping, it used to be included. All but 3406 are exclusives. :) Jeff (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) that (...) Jeff, What is the new shipping scale? Is it the same as LD? Or is it more? When you add shipping to the soccer bus is it more then $22? Thanks for the info... Robin W GFLTC (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Summer Shop at Home Catalog just arrived!! —Jeff Stembel
(...) It is the same scale. I think it would come to $22.49... The increased price reflects the fact that they lost money when they only shipped a few small item. The consumer will save money by ordering multiple items. :D Jeff (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Summer Shop at Home Catalog just arrived!! —Thomas Carstensen
(...) Well -- the shipping changes saved me almost $100 w/ S&H. I had just placed an order that in the old catalog was $910, and now w/ that shipping maxes out at $10, my new total was $830. Lego S&H changes is costing them a lot of $$ for large (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Huh.... well if their newer MT sets were anything like the older ones (e.g. 5571) they would be doing better, I bet.       I only have one RR set too, but mine is the biggest one. I like it, but the rest do look like losers.      (...) Do you mean how simplified the McDonalds is? It's not that bad. It has been a US S@H exclusive since the fall, so it's been around a while.
