Thanks Benjamin :-)
Yes, the action wheelers are Toolo, which I have to tell you my son will be
mad about. He loves his Toolo, and these sets are pretty high tech looking
compared to the old stuff.
The new mean faces on the figs will really appeal. I have to admit, I am a
little tired of all those Duplo smiling faces! My son's main love at the
moment, is pirates, cowboys and knights, the meaner the better. So these new
faces really fill a gap in the market for him, as he was just not playing with
the Duplo anymore. (but still gets frustrated with Lego cause when he plays
with it, it falls apart) He builds a bit sometimes but prefers to play with
items that don't self destruct- so he was switching allegiences and going for
fisher price, so these Toolo sets will pull him back into the fold!)
My daughter however loves Duplo, it has to do with the "cute factor"
something that just doesn't cut it with my son!
Lets hope though that this time they have the light and sound components
right, and have replaceable batteries, as this was something that bugged the
hell out of me with the other Duplo light and sound (sealed components which
were not replaceable from Lego even to buy - once the batteries ran out - too
bad if your set was the one at the front of the shelf for 300 kids to try out
before you got it!)
