(Thankyou muchly for the scans, Benjamin!)
Funny how the overall look of the Action Wheelers is so much like the
modernised Junior Meccano. We ended up buying (non-modernised) Jr Meccano
for my son's 4th birthday last year after a lengthy and fruitless search
for more Toolo (he'd received the small Toolo digger the previous birthday).
The "modernised" Jr. Meccano range appeared shortly after that and I'd much
rather the "original" stuff, my son says the same.
Same goes with the Toolo, the Action Wheelers look ok in and of themselves
but I'd rather the original type Toolo! As it is we're too much into the
Jr Meccano now, much more scope and detail than Toolo, so I'll be giving
the Action Wheelers a miss.

Arrgh! I was so mad when I opened the box and discoved this on the L&S
Duplo, would it have killed Lego to mention it on the box? As luck
would have it my son's interest in these trucks didn't last long and so the
L&S elements are still in working order for his (as yet theoretical) future
sibling.

| Thanks Benjamin :-) Yes, the action wheelers are Toolo, which I have to tell you my son will be mad about. He loves his Toolo, and these sets are pretty high tech looking compared to the old stuff. The new mean faces on the figs will really appeal. (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.general)
