In Hannover (northern Germany) some Lego guys are trying to build the highest
Lego tower with help of anyone who comes along: old record is 25.20 meters.

These guys plan to build it 50 cm higher (more is not allowed, since Lego wants
to do a lot of further record events...).

Here you can find two pictures of this tower (15 m high so far):

(...) Out of interest, how are you adding more? Are you climbing to the top, or adding more from the base? Or something else...? Good luck breaking the record! -Shiri (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) wants (...) Not allowed? I guess LEGO is sponsoring the event and providing the brick. What would they do if a private club made one much taller? Are they going to use any kind of support like a steel pole? KL (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.general)
