First, for those that haven't yet seen it, here are pictures of the big set:

plate... supports for spotlights... lots of green slopes... and some odd yellow
plate that a cord goes in... and something designed to make the buildings
collapse(new?)! And according to something in the media section, movement
sticks to make the figs look like they're moving on their own.

If we're talking about the same thing, it looks like that supposed to be a
dino leg (ut you don't actually use the whole dino, just the leg)... or maybe

No, the little hinges under the buildings, which are apperantly yellow and dark
gray.

It appears to be the standard technic-peg-in-beam design. Check the giant
images to see everything more clearly. :)

In the second movie, check out the face on the director at the end. I had a
good laugh at that. If my face ever makes onto a minifig, I'll know I've
really made it. 8)

Good observation, Ben-- that's Spielberg all right! If anyone deserves to be
immortalized as a minifig, it is he IMO.
BTW, the butchering of his last name in this thread was killing me so I changed
it, but at least I wasn't anal enough to retype LEGO in all caps as it should
be;-)

I like the way they used a Dk. Gray SW engine for a studio light. However,
I REALLY hope they mine other films of Spielberg other than Jurassic Park.
With all the hoopla over TLG's non-violence policy, this set is totally
geared toward destruction of highrises and the psuedo-mastication of
innocent minifigs. Oh, the humanity!
. . . or perhaps I should say; "Oh, the ABS!"

On the plus side, the cracked roadplate and the black girders supporting the
lights look very interesting. Of special note is the large green T-Rex foot
in the last picture. I believe that's a green 2x2 convex corner I spy!

Couldn't they offer some pictures less than 2000 pixels wide and less than 1
Mb? Could some please reduce these pics to, say 150 Kb and either post them
somewhere or offer them by email?
