While most of my original collection dates from 20 - ~27 years ago, I would
love to write a 'Classic Review' of some of them, if anyone was interested.
While they're not as classic perhaps as some things in other collections,
I think there were some great sets that came out of the mid-late 70's. I'm
thinking of the LEGOLAND models (which I *belive* pre-date the town theme),
the earliest Expert Builder sets (my personal favs) and of course the
classic Space stuff. Not sure how many of these may already have reviews
and where they might be, but the offer is there if needed.

Who knows, you may dig some closet review writers out of the woodwork and
add personal details and anecdotes to the reveiws. I know that when
working on model features for my website, it's not so much the facts and
figures that are interesting, as much as the stories behind the models.

| (...) I've read Gary's posts several times, and I am glad someone got them all in one place! I think it would be great to have some pictures to go along with Gary's educational series, too. Although, I never got the impression that anyone here was (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)
