Re: Samsonite oversized bricks —Scott Edward Sanburn
(...) Boy this just screams, "QUIT USING THE LEGO LOGO ON YOUR AUCTIONS!" I mean that in the kindest, gentlest way imaginable. :) Scott S. ___...___ Scott E.         Re: Samsonite oversized bricks —Frank Filz
(...) Sure does. Last night I was reading the listing rules, and perhaps we should declare war on all the clones on eBay. The listing rules disallow using another brand name to score hits, so "like LEGO" or "not LEGO" are supposedly disallowed. They (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Samsonite oversized bricks —John Gerlach
(...) Except these are genuine bricks with the LEGO logo on them. So the "like Lego" or "not Lego" doesn't apply. I've seen bricks like these before, they're strange beasts... They don't fit with either Lego or Duplo bricks, but they're definitely (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Samsonite oversized bricks —Larry Pieniazek
(...) OK, here's a question, then... what are the restrictions on stuff that TLG gave you? He's hawking stuff that only employees had original access to. Did TLG TOE restrict what you could do with stuff that they gave you? I assume you'd have a (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Samsonite oversized bricks —John Gerlach
(...) *While* I was an employee, there were all sorts of rules I followed: Never give out information (like upcoming sets) until that information was in the public domain, such as when the new mini-catalogs started showing up in sets, or the new (...)         Re: Samsonite oversized bricks —Scott Edward Sanburn
John, (...) No, I was referring to the red LEGO logo with rare stuff around it, not the bricks. TLC does not like the logo on websites, as I am sure you probably know. The policy also says you can take pictures of a set, etc. as long as you don't (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) ___...___ (...) be "his" logo. I would personally love to have all the Tyco, Megabloks, etc. sellers not use "Lego" as part of their titles or descriptions - it takes a lot longer to page through looking for the genuine stuff...         Re: Samsonite oversized bricks —Scott Edward Sanburn
Wayne, (...) (URL) you see any place in this page regarding using the LEGO official logo in someone's own, let me know. You are NOT supposed to use their red signature Logo, period. (...) That's true, but it goes back to consumer awareness. Some (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Samsonite oversized bricks —Wayne R. Hussey
(...) <snip> I'm not sure we're on the same page, here. My comment was in no way any form of support for this individual. More of an "Oh, by the way, he's using it throughout his LEGO auctions as if it were his own". I'm very much against the (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)
